Apr 2024 - To commemorate Rémy Martin's 300th Anniversary in 2024, Rémy Martin Travel Retail and Unigons embarked on a journey of innovation and sustainability to make a grape difference. For the first time in Rémy Martin's history, Unigons designed an artisan homeware leather line crafted from a patented eco-material in partnership with Vegea, utilizing grape waste. This initiative not only tackles the challenge of 14 million tons of yearly grape waste but also transforms waste products to enrich the Cognac experience.

TURNING WASTES INTO TREASURES @ "GREENFINITY"

Mar 2024 - Alta Group and Unigons Vietnam join forces to kickstart "Greenfinity," a nationwide initiative in Vietnam promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness. The project deploys 50 reverse vending machines in public spaces and key megamalls to collect single-use plastic trash, rewarding users with points for responsible disposal. Collected plastics are recycled into new household and decorative products. The aim is to launch 100 machines by 2025 and recycle up to 20 million plastic bottles.

Candle Zero

REINVENTING THE
BIRTHDAY CANDLE

Jan 2024 - Every day, nearly 19 million people celebrate their birthdays, resulting in the disposal of millions of candles, with 70% of the wax left unused. The majority of these candles, approximately 90%, are crafted from non-biodegradable paraffin wax, taking centuries to decompose. Unigons initiated "Zero," a new startup aiming to combat this environmental issue. They developed a novel candle design utilizing hollow recycled paper straws as stems, replacing paraffin wax with soya wax, and using 25% wax, ensuring a 10-minute burn time (long enough for 5 birthday songs and many photos!). Additionally, this design eliminates plastic candle stands, preventing wax leakage onto cakes, and resulting in a zero-plastic product. Aug 2023 - Embark on an enchanting animated adventure featuring Starbucks' newest delights, American Black Tea with Plum and Hawthorn, and Osmanthus Tie Guan Yin Latte, designed for Starbucks' Star Delivery. Unigons One's animation takes viewers on a captivating journey through diverse dimensions, landscapes, and seasons, while tea bags infuse their aromatic essence. With breathtaking visuals, the animation skillfully depicts urban scenes and the intricate brewing process, enhancing each moment.

Jun 2023 - Taobao Life Metaverse is a popular digital virtual game embedded within Taobao, with millions of daily active users. In conjunction with its 4th Anniversary celebration, a large-scale metaverse world with the addition of 8 new buildings and 4 virtual landscapes was created where players can construct cakes by collecting cream, fruits, and sugar. The players can also enjoy various experience items such as slingshots, zip lines, boats, and hot air balloons. Additionally, there are abundant costumes and check-in points for users to explore and earn rich rewards throughout this immersive experience. The promotion and marketing of the new game received excellent feedback upon its release.

THE NEW CHONG PANG CITY BRAND IDENTITY

Mar 2023 - Newly unveiled by Singapore's Prime Minister Lee and Minister Shanmugam at the groundbreaking ceremony, the new Chong Pang City brand identity is a vibrant, colorful, and meaningful symbol of unity, intergenerational community spirit, inclusivity, and growth. The Blooming Heart symbol is made up of 4 overlapping speech bubbles of different sizes and colors representing 4 different racial groups (Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Others) and 4 different generations of people connecting and congregating at its center. Staying true to the slogan of the Yishun constituency – “Home with a Heart”, the brand identity resembles a bright and evergreen blooming heart, symbolizing a new spring of wonderful possibilities.

Mar 2023 - Unigons X wants to improve the learning interaction between the parent and the child. Empowering the child with a personalized learning journey through more fun, interactive, adaptive, and rewarding format. Collaborating with the experienced educators at Pearson, the new Pearson app underwent a full digital transformation with new smart interactive dynamic features and content to enhance the learning experience through targeted skill modules integrated with A.I. Tests. Tailoring a personalized learning pathway for every child, the new Pearson App generates comprehensive learning progression reports for the parents to keep track of their child's learning journey.

TMALL GREEN ACTION PARK

Dec 2022 - TMall launched the new Green Action Park to encourage its online brands and retailers to promote sustainable, eco-friendly, low-carbon consumer goods to shoppers. The new Green Action Park promotes, encourages, and rewards shoppers to browse and shop for green products at TMall. New content and shopping incentives were pushed to shoppers to increase the awareness of "Greener Shopping". Shoppers were enticed with a "green shopping bag" to receive daily green shopping guides and green reward points. The animated promotional video showcases TMall's new Green Action Park and mission for a green Double 11 Campaign. The video and new feature were viewed by millions of users across multiple platforms and generated over 200,000 discussions.

Jun 2022 - Unigons One China and ByteDance launched 160,000 Dragon Boat Festival Gift Packaging that are made of discarded sugarcane fiber. The eco-friendly packaging is so green that it doesn't have any colour or design printed on it. Like a plain and blank canvas, it is full of exciting limitless possibilities. A social media campaign with adorable mascots was produced to educate, inspire, and motivate the consumers to create new ideas to upcycle these green packaging.

FIRST PLASTIC BOTTLE REVERSE VENDING MACHINE IN VIETNAM

May 2022 - Debuted at the recent Vietnam International Fashion Week event, Aquafina and Unigons Vietnam launched Vietnam's first Reverse Vending Machine. The event attracted the attention of both local and international attendees and media with a strong green message of "new life cycle regeneration of plastic bottles", contributing to greener environmental protection.
 

Since its launch, over 300,000 plastic bottles have been collected during the period from May to Oct 2022.

Apr 2022 - While most of the F&B outlets took a hiatus during the pandemic years, Unigons Hong Kong and Swire Coca-Cola activated a series of trade activities to launch the new iconic Coke bottle. Lighter, sleeker, and greener, the new bottle is specially designed to make it more attractive and easier for consumers, trade partners, logistic operators, and bottling plants to return, disinfect and refill. This is part of the company's mission to achieve a "World Without Waste"

YOUR FAVOURITE THIRD UNCLE 
HAS JUST ARRIVED

Feb 2022 - Seeing a doctor and taking medicine can be a stressful and uncomfortable experience. To remove these mental barriers, Unigons One China created a new mascot for the brand, 999. An adorable and more approachable character "Third Uncle" is born (三九, a homophonic pun of 999 in Mandarin).  The new "Third Uncle" mascot is so successful that 999 engages Unigons to develop a multipurpose eco-friendly packaging to "celebrate new growth" in the new coming year. The limited-edition CNY gift box is specially designed to be upcycled as a planter box for customers to plant flowers for the new spring.
